Minecraft continues to make its mark on new platforms with a European launch for Vita on October 15. 4J Studios, the UK team that is porting the sandbox game game to North America, tweeted that there isn't an official date yet.



Cross-buy is a possibility for the portable Minecraft version. If you have the game on PS3 or PS4, you can also get it on Vita. In May, Mojang, the developer of the game, announced that Mojang announced that the asking price for the game is $20. As with PS3 and you can transfer saves between PS3 and Vita, and DLC purchases are available on both versions.



At the time, Mojang said it was working with Sony to "look at ways to allow upgrading from the Blu-ray disc version of Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition to Minecraft: Playstation 3 and Vita."
